Glass of the Sun Solar - Panel Cleaning Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By scheduling or receiving solar panel cleaning services from Glass of the Sun Solar ("Company," "we," "us"), you ("Client," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking our services.

2. Services Provided

2.1 Scope of Service

We provide professional solar panel cleaning services including:

  • Removal of dirt, dust, debris, and bird droppings from panel surfaces

  • Gentle washing using purified water and approved cleaning solutions

  • Visual inspection of panels for obvious damage or issues

  • Post-cleaning performance verification when possible

2.2 Services Not Included

  • Repair or replacement of damaged panels

  • Electrical system diagnostics or repairs

  • Roof repairs or maintenance

  • Removal of heavy debris, snow, or ice

  • Tree trimming or removal

  • Pest control or nest removal

3. Scheduling and Access

3.1 Appointment Scheduling

  • Service appointments are confirmed via email or phone

  • Clients must provide accurate contact information and property access details

  • We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, equipment issues, or emergencies

3.2 Property Access

  • Client must ensure safe, unobstructed access to solar panels

  • Client must provide any necessary access codes, keys, or gate remotes

  • Client or authorized representative must be present for residential services, or provide written authorization for access

  • We may refuse service if access is unsafe or inadequate

3.3 Pets

  • All pets must be secured indoors or in a separate area during service

  • Client is responsible for pet-related delays or safety concerns

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Service Fees

  • Pricing is provided in written estimates or service agreements

  • Prices are subject to change based on property conditions, panel count, or accessibility

  • Additional fees may apply for emergency service, difficult access, or excessive soiling

4.2 Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements are made

  • Accepted payment methods: cash, check, credit/debit cards, electronic payment

  • Recurring service clients may be invoiced with net-30 payment terms

  • Late payments may incur a fee of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law

4.3 Deposits

  • We may require a deposit for first-time clients or large projects

  • Deposits are non-refundable except as specified in our Refund Policy

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

5.1 Client Cancellation

  • 24+ hours notice: No charge, full refund of any deposit

  • Less than 24 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee

  • No-show without notice: Full service charge applies

5.2 Company Cancellation

  • We may cancel or reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, or emergencies

  • Client will receive full refund or free rescheduling if we cancel

6. Liability and Insurance

6.1 Our Insurance

  • Glass of the Sun Solar carries general liability and workers' compensation insurance

  • Insurance certificates available upon request

6.2 Property Damage

  • We take reasonable care to prevent damage to your property

  • We are responsible for damage directly caused by our negligence

  • Pre-existing damage to panels, roof, or property is not our responsibility

  • Client should document any concerns before service begins

6.3 Limitations of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided

  • We are not liable for consequential damages, lost revenue, or energy production losses

  • We are not responsible for damage caused by defective panels, improper installation, or pre-existing conditions

  • We are not liable for weather-related delays or cancellations

6.4 Client Responsibilities

  • Client is responsible for ensuring panels and roof are structurally sound

  • Client must disclose known hazards, damages, or safety concerns

  • Client assumes risk for any undisclosed property conditions

7. Safety and Conditions

7.1 Weather and Safety

  • We will not perform service in unsafe conditions including:

    • High winds, lightning, or severe weather

    • Wet, icy, or unstable roof surfaces

    • Extreme temperatures

    • Poor visibility or darkness

7.2 Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if:

  • Conditions are unsafe for our technicians

  • Property access is inadequate or hazardous

  • Client is abusive, threatening, or uncooperative

  • Panels or roof structure appear unsafe or damaged

8. Warranties and Guarantees

8.1 Service Guarantee

  • We guarantee workmanship for 48 hours after service

  • If you're unsatisfied, we'll re-clean at no charge within 48 hours

8.2 No Performance Warranty

  • We do not guarantee specific energy production increases

  • Panel performance depends on many factors beyond cleaning

  • We are not responsible for system malfunctions or defects

8.3 No Damage Warranty

  • We do not warrant against future panel damage or degradation

  • Regular cleaning does not prevent all potential panel issues

9. Privacy and Data

9.1 Information Collection

  • We collect contact, property, and payment information

  • We may take photos for quality assurance and records

  • We do not sell or share your information with third parties

9.2 Communications

  • By providing contact information, you consent to service-related communications

  • You may opt out of marketing communications at any time

10. Recurring Service Agreements

10.1 Subscription Terms

  • Recurring services are billed according to the agreed schedule

  • Prices may increase with 30 days' notice

  • Either party may cancel with 30 days' written notice

10.2 Auto-Renewal

  • Recurring agreements auto-renew unless cancelled

  • Cancellation must be in writing via email or certified mail

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Informal Resolution

  • Client agrees to contact us first to resolve any disputes

  • We will work in good faith to address concerns

11.2 Arbitration

  • Disputes not resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration

  • Arbitration will follow American Arbitration Association rules

  • Each party bears their own costs unless otherwise awarded

11.3 Class Action Waiver

  • Client agrees to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action

12. Indemnification

Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Glass of the Sun Solar from claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Client's breach of these terms

  • Undisclosed property hazards or conditions

  • Third-party claims related to property access

  • Misuse of our services or recommendations

13. Modifications to Terms

  • We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time

  • Changes effective upon posting to our website

  • Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms

  • Material changes will be communicated via email when possible

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with our Refund Policy and any signed service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between parties.
